We are known to be a very dog friendly company. We received some items from Earth Rated in exchange for a review and tested them out on a couple of dogs.
3-in-1 Dog Shampoo
Our dog is a smooth coat Jack Russell Terrier named Finn. He’s not a slob and in fact has pretty good hygiene. Nevertheless, he occasionally needs a bath. I tried the 3-in-1 Dog Shampoo for short coat dogs and rated it from a human perspective. The first thing I noticed was the applicator. This is not a dump it on the dog and hope it goes where you want it. You apply it where you need it, not just up and down his back and hope it spreads around. Finn also spends most of the bath trying to escape so this makes the bath quicker and more efficient. It has a light scent so I didn’t end up with a perfume-y dog. His coat is soft and clean and he is ready to go. Earth Rated also has shampoo for curly coat and double coat dogs.
5 stars
Natural Rubber Chew Toy
The Natural Rubber Chew Toy was much too big for Finn so I gave it to his cousin Luna, a black lab. I didn’t even have a chance to fill it with treats. It was immediately her favorite toy. She “throws it” to herself to chase its erratic bounce. It can be filled with treats or peanut butter but it’s also good as is for an energetic dog
5 stars
Natural Rubber Fetch Toy
Finn is a fetcher. He will chase a ball until he’s exhausted, take a 43 second break, then start over. He tried the Natural Rubber Fetch Toy which is designed for small dogs. He was interested in chasing it as a bouncing toy for a while but, for fetching, it didn’t keep his interest as long as a ball he can sprint after. He is also a chewer. I buy the strongest toys for heavy chewers and he will still destroy them. This fetch toy has not been destroyed and I have not found pieces of it around my house which is significant!.
As a fetching toy this gets 4 stars
As a chewing toy this gets 5 stars
Overall these Earth Rated products are very high quality, made from natural materials. We received these as free products but based on their quality, prices, and how they engaged the dog testers, I would buy these in the future.
