Rewire Your Entrepreneurial Mind for Success with Karim Boktor

In this episode of Talk Commerce, I had the pleasure of speaking with Karim Boktor, a leadership and business hypnotherapist based in Australia. Karim specializes in helping entrepreneurs and business leaders overcome mental and emotional barriers by tapping into the power of the subconscious mind. Our conversation uncovered fascinating insights about how our subconscious programming shapes our behavior, decisions, and ultimately, our success in business.

The Hidden Force Driving Your Business Decisions

One of the key takeaways from my discussion with Karim was the profound influence of the subconscious mind in our daily lives, especially as entrepreneurs. As Karim explained:

80 to 90 percent of what we do in our decisions and our behavior is supported by our subconscious mind.

This means that the vast majority of our choices and actions in business are driven by mental programming we’re not even aware of. Karim emphasized that understanding and optimizing your subconscious is crucial for making sound decisions, leading effectively, and achieving your full potential as an entrepreneur.

Breaking Free from Emotional Barriers

Karim identified five primary emotions that often hold entrepreneurs back: anger, sadness, fear, hurt, and guilt. These negative emotions can manifest in various ways, such as fear of failure, resistance to change, difficulty with self-promotion, and self-sabotaging behaviors. As Karim put it:

The five key emotions that hold us back in life, we can put them into five buckets. Anger, sadness, fear, hurt and guilt.

Using advanced hypnotherapy techniques, Karim helps his clients recognize and release these limiting emotions at the subconscious level. By breaking free from these emotional barriers, entrepreneurs can unlock new levels of confidence, clarity, and success.

Identifying Your Mental Blocks

So how can you start to recognize the subconscious patterns holding you back in business? Karim offered a powerful exercise:

If you were your own mentor, or if you were looking at yourself like you’re an outdated program, and you looked through your coding in yourself, where would the bugs be?

He suggests imagining that you’re objectively observing yourself, as if looking in a mirror, and identifying the areas where you’re getting stuck or repeating unproductive behaviors. This self-awareness is the first step in rewiring your subconscious for success.

What next

My conversation with Karim Boktor shed light on a critical but often neglected aspect of entrepreneurial success: optimizing your subconscious mind. By understanding how your subconscious programming shapes your actions and decisions, and proactively working to overcome limiting emotions and beliefs, you can tap into new levels of potential in your business and leadership.
