eTail Expands U.S. Production Team, Propelling Next Phase of Growth

New York, NY – June 13, 2024
Worldwide Business Research (WBR), the company behind the globally renowned eTail event series, announced a strategic expansion of its U.S. production team. This move aims to support the next growth phase for the flagship eTail Palm Springs and eTail Boston conferences. As part of this expansion, Kristin Schoenstein and Elizabeth Robillard have been elevated to new roles, enabling them to deepen their year-round focus on these premier events. Additionally, Leucepe (Leo) Martinez, Senior Program Director of eTail Toronto and eTail London, has joined the eTail Palm Springs production team, bringing a valuable international perspective.

Celebrating 25 Years of Revolutionizing Retail

Founded in 1999, eTail is commemorating its 25th anniversary this year as a premier annual retail conference focused on eCommerce and digital marketing. Over the past quarter-century, eTail has served as a hub for retail leaders to gather, share insights, and uncover actionable strategies for growth. The upcoming eTail Boston 2024 event is slated for Aug. 12-15, while eTail Palm Springs 2025 will take place Feb. 24-27, 2025.

What sets eTail apart is its unique blend of exclusive networking opportunities, pre-selected meetings, focused content, luxury accommodations, and actionable takeaways. The conference has evolved significantly since its humble beginnings, now hosting thousands of senior-level marketing and eCommerce executives across multiple global events each year.

As Firat Ozkan, VP Sales & Marketing at Mount-It!, attests, “eTail had the perfect balance of group sessions, networking opportunities, and one-on-one meetings with potential marketing partners.” This sentiment is echoed by Aaron Zagha, CMO at Newton Baby, who appreciated that “the average attendee was more senior and knowledgeable, which made for great networking and roundtables.”

Elevating Leadership to Guide Strategic Growth

To steer eTail’s continued evolution, Kristin Schoenstein has been promoted to the newly created role of eTail Chief of Staff. In this position, Kristin will be responsible for overseeing the overarching strategy and direction of the eTail Boston and Palm Springs production. With extensive experience producing events since 2007, including over a decade in production and programming roles at WBR, Kristin is poised to provide valuable guidance as eTail enters its next chapter.

Stepping into Kristin’s prior role, Elizabeth Robillard has been promoted to eTail Boston and Palm Springs Portfolio Director. Elizabeth brings nearly ten years of experience in market research and event organization within the retail and financial sectors. Having co-produced eTail Palm Springs since 2021, she will now focus year-round on further elevating these two key industry conferences.

“Kristin’s promotion will allow her to take a broader view to guide the strategic alignment of the eTail portfolio with a fresh perspective,” noted Chet Silverman, eTail Director of Sponsorship, affectionately known as Mr. eTail. “Under Kristin’s leadership, both eTail Palm Springs and Boston have flourished, and together with Elizabeth, this year’s eTail Palm Springs conference brought together an especially impressive lineup of eCommerce and retail thought leaders talking about the unique problems and opportunities in this dynamic industry.”

Infusing an International Perspective

To further enrich the eTail Palm Springs production team, Leucepe (Leo) Martinez, Senior Program Director of eTail Toronto and eTail London, will be joining the fold. Leo’s unique experience producing eTail events in Europe and Canada will undoubtedly bring valuable insights to the table.

“We are working on enhancements to eTail conferences across the portfolio, and I’m excited to reveal more later this year,” shared Kristin Schoenstein, eTail Chief of Staff. “With his unique experience producing eTail in Europe and Canada, Leo adds a unique international perspective. And I am thrilled to continue working closely with Elizabeth.”

Propelling eCommerce Forward at eTail

As eTail celebrates its silver anniversary, the conference remains steadfastly committed to its role as a catalyst for eCommerce and retail innovation. By bringing together the best and brightest minds in the industry, eTail provides an unparalleled platform for brands and professionals to connect, collaborate, and chart the course for the future of commerce.

With a reinvigorated leadership team at the helm and an unwavering focus on delivering value to attendees, eTail is poised to continue shaping the retail landscape for years to come. As the conference embarks on this exciting new chapter, one thing is certain: eTail will remain at the forefront of retail, propelling eCommerce to new heights.
